Market Art + Design, the East End’s premier modern and contemporary art fair, is returning to Bridgehampton from Thursday, July 6 through Sunday, July 9 for its 7th year. Set just off Montauk Highway at the Bridgehampton Museum, Market Art + Design will showcase presentations by 65 top galleries from around the world.

“RJD Gallery is excited to be participating in this year’s Market Art+Design Fair conveniently located just across the street from our new Gallery space on Main Street in Bridgehampton. We will be located in Booth #413 featuring new works, some never before seen, by a carefully curated group of our many talented painters and sculptors,” shared RJD Gallery Assistant Director Casey Dalene. “The booth will exemplify Gallery’s mission of exhibiting only the highest quality work ranging from Photorealistic Figurative Painting, to Magical Realism, Surreallism as well as Photorealistic Urban Landscapes and Contemporary Sculpture.”

While local gallery Janet Lehr Fine Arts will highlight works from Adam Handler, Milton Avery, Charles Demuth, and Mardesen Hartley. “Adam Handler is a young genius of an artist who has already found his place in the collections of numerous board members internationally,” explained Lehr.
Market Art + Design’s Preview, presented by 1stdibs, will take place on Thursday, July 6 from 6 to 10 p.m. The evening will benefit our community’s very own Parrish Art Museum, the East End’s leading cultural center. The opening night festivities will feature fantastic food and drink from some of the Hamptons’ most exclusive bars and restaurants like Stand Coffee and CoCo & Co.
As both Art Southampton and Art Hamptons have been postponed for 2017, it’s sure to be a highlight of the Hamptons’ summer season.
Market Art + Design will be open on Friday, July 7 from 12 to 8 p.m., Saturday, July 8 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, July 9 from 12 to 6 p.m. Multi-Day Passes are $25, One Day Passes are $20, and Preview Pass tickets are $35.
