The Artists Alliance of East Hampton (AAEH) will highlight the works of more than 30 local artists through Spring Inspirations. The six-day exhibit will be on view at Ashawagh Hall in East Hampton from Friday, April 30 through Wednesday, May 5.
“As Spring Inspirations is the first AAEH Members show since the pandemic, the artists are looking forward to meeting with the community and to share their work in person,” Mary Milne, Artists Alliance of East Hampton President, shared.

Spring Inspirations will boast exceptional creations from Barbara Bilotta, Barbara Strong Borsack, Bo Parsons, Bob Wilson, Frank Sofo, Joanna Caleca, Jean Mahoney, Joan Santos, Joanna McCarthy, Joel Lefkowitz, Josephine Wojtusiak, Karen Kirshner, Katherine Cunningham, Lance Corey, Laurie Hall, Lieve Thiers, Jerry Schwabe, Marie Lombardi, Mark Zimmerman, Mary Milne, Pamela Vossen, Pamela Thomson, Kenna Mackay, Phyllis Chillingworth, Richard Gerst, Rosa, Hanna Scott, Setha Low, Sheila Rotner, Suzanne Crocker, Teresa Lawler, Lynn Martell, Veronica Mahoney, Carol Fitzgerald, Janet Rojas, Joyce Kubat, Lori Horowitz, Micheal Fitzgerald, Abigail Vogel, and Richard Mothes.
“With over 30 local artists exhibiting their work, there will be a myriad of styles and mediums including paintings, photography, glass and sculptures,” she said.
Since AAEH’s past few shows have been presented digitally, the organization is really looking forward to having exhibit-goers experience Spring Inspirations in a gallery setting. “Although our virtual shows have provided an opportunity to exhibit online over this past year, to be able to view the actual artwork, meet the artists and hear what inspired their work adds to the ability to appreciate art both for the artist and for the viewer,” Milne explained.
Visitors will even leave with a special memento from the show. “Now that we are starting to emerge from this past year, it is the hope that art will help brighten one’s vision,” Milne reflected. “Flower seeds will be distributed to visitors to germinate hope and brighten the future for all of us.”
Spring Inspirations will be on view from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m, with the exception of Wednesday, May 5 when the exhibit closes at 4:00 p.m. Masks and social distancing are required.
