The Southampton Cultural Center Presents “Songs & Stories” Series

The Southampton Cultural Center will launch the Hamptons first cross-genre performance series, “Songs & Stories,” which will appear in multiple Southampton galleries. The kickoff event, “Songs & Stories in the Galleries,” will bring to free top-notch musical performances to Southampton’s most prestigious galleries on Saturday, August 16, 2014, from 3 to 5 p.m.

Each presentation deals with common themes and arrangements and groups together authors, poets, musicians, dancers, visual artists and creative individuals in exciting and entertaining performances. “Songs & Stories in the Galleries” will draw on performers love of music, art and literature and will explore ideas related to the Hamptons community of artists and writers.

There will be four featured performances and each are expected to last approximately 20 minutes. Following the presentations, a reception at the Southampton Cultural center will be held from 5 to 6 p.m.
