Sylvester Manor Educational Farm is hosting an evening of acoustic music featuring Barbecue Bruce and the Brisket Brothers at Shelter Island’s American Legion Hall (1 Bateman Road, Shelter Island) on Saturday, February 13th at 6 p.m. and again at 8 p.m. Set in a casual “pub” setting, the concert will include jug band music, country blues, folk, Tin Pan Alley and contemporary tunes played by Bruce MacDonald, Dan Skabeikis and Lindsay Reeve. Martha Clara Vineyards (6025 Sound Avenue, Riverhead) will have a double dose of Valentine’s Day weekend shows on Saturday. The Shelter Island Friends of Music is presenting A Valentine’s Day Special: “Heart & Soul” featuring Russian Cellist, Dmitry Kouzov.
