The Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill will kick-off Jazz en Plein Air and Sounds of Summer, the Museum’s summer concert series, over Memorial Day weekend. The evenings will feature live performances by accomplished artists, picture-perfect sunset views, and delicious food and drinks from the Golden Pear Café.
“Our summer music program brings together performers of diverse musical persuasions and encourages all ages to dance, dine, socialize or just enjoy the fresh air and the cool tunes,” remarked Century Arts Foundation Curator of Special Projects, Andrea Grover. “It’s a festive and fun way to kick-off the weekend.”

Solla has performed in some of the most prominent jazz venues and festivals, including Bim Huis, Amsterdam; the Blue Note and Lincoln Center, New York; Jazz in Marciac, France; and Fasching, Stockholm.
Sounds of Summer will take place the first Friday of the month, also from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Participating artists include The HooDoo Loungers (June 3rd), Mambo Loco (July 1st), Winston Irie (August 5th), and Bluegrass & BBW with the Edith & Bennett Band (September 2nd).
