The Southampton Arts Center invites you to its Summer Outdoor Concert Series kick-off on Saturday, June 25th from 6 to 8 p.m. The program’s launch will feature reggae band The Thunderballs.
Consisting of NL Dennis, one of Jamaica’s most popular singer/songwriters, along with bassist Joel Eisenkramer, and vocalist and bandleader Peter Eisenkramer, The Thunderballs is sure to entertain the whole family. The upbeat reggae sound of the band will have the crowd dancing on their feet all night long.
“The Thunderballs come to us highly recommended by Carlos Lama of Innersleeve Records in Amagansett,” explained Director of Programs at the Southampton Arts Center, Amy Kirwin. “Carlos is known for his musical expertise, so any suggestion he makes is sure to be outstanding.” The Center believes the band is a great fit for the first concert of the season. “We are very excited to start the summer off with their cool island vibes,” added Kirwin.
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, and food and beverage to the first free concert of the Summer Outdoor Concert Series. Admission to the event is complimentary, but the Center would appreciate donations of $10, in support of the Southampton Arts Center and its many programs.
