As the summer begins to unfold, the Montauk Chamber of Commerce has announced their weekly lineup of outdoor concerts on the Montauk Village Green and Gosman’s Dock.
“Special events such as the free summer concert series drive visitation and the economy and add vitality to the Montauk community,” said Executive Director of the Chamber, Laraine Creegan.
The concerts are truly a community affair, as downtown local businesses are ready with early dinner and take-away options to be enjoyed on the lawn. Concerts are family-friendly and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, coolers, or lawn-chairs for their listening enjoyments.
“I have been playing Gosman’s Dock on Sundays for many years and am happy to see them help subsidize a larger series for everyone’s enjoyment,” explained musician Nancy Atlas, who can be seen in July.
In addition to listening to local bands play, on Wednesday, July 5 and Wednesday, July 26 the Chamber will present two open mic concerts on the Village Green.
“We’ve just gotten back from playing in Cannes, one of the most exciting and celebrated beach towns in the world, and we’re delighted to be back in our hometown,” shared PJ Delia of Joe Delia & Thieves, another summer concert headliner. “There is no place quite like Montauk — the people, the ocean hugging a tiny hamlet from all sides. We’ll be playing the Season Finale of the Concerts on the Green. It will be a lot of fun for everyone.”

Mondays at the Green concerts will begin at 6:30 p.m. in June and July, and at 6 p.m. in August. At Gosman’s Dock, concerst will begin at 6 p.m..
