“Supporting and celebrating our artistic community is central to Southampton Arts Center’s vision,” expressed Southampton Arts Center Director Michele Thompson. “We are honored to work with Paton Miller in conceptualizing and curating this exhibition.”
Starting Friday, April 24th through Sunday, May 17th, Southampton Arts Center is showcasing a group exhibition featuring the works of East End artists. Contributing artist Paton Miller curated “East End Collected.” The beauty of the East End, which Miller feels provides the perfect backdrop to create, inspired the artist when he was putting together the show. Miller notes another positive about working on the East End is the growing artistic community, which allows artists the chance to receive constructive criticism from their peers. “East End Collected” pays tribute to local artists and honors the collectors who have supported the community.
Featured artists include Sydney Albertini, Aage Bjerring, Scott Bluedorn, Darlene Charneco, Jamie DePasquale, Idoline Duke, Terry Elkins, Eric Ernst, David Geiser, Jim Gingerich, Daniel Gonzalez, Kirby Grimes, Mark Humphrey, Terri Hyland, Jane Johnson, Bruce Lieberman, Jerome Lucani, Malcolm MacDougall, Steve Manino, Jane Martin, Paton Miller, Steve Miller, Aye Miyatake, Pat Moran, Jeff Muhs, Raun Norquist, Dave Abrze, Brian Oleary, Kryn Olson, Gines Pagan, Joel Perlman, John Pomianowski, John Ross Rist, John Rist, Dan Rizzie, Michael Rosch, Peter Spacek, Walter Us, Charles Wildbank, and Darius Yektai.
