Our Fabulous Variety Show Creating Hamptons Flash Mob On The Fourth

Have you ever wanted to become part of a flash mob? Well now you have the chance. Our Fabulous Variety Show (OFVS) is creating a flash mob on July 4, just 10 minutes before the Southampton 4th of July Parade, and wants you to become part of it!

OFVS is celebrating Independence Day in mob form, and is also promoting their next production “GodSpell” on July 19. The mob will perform an easy routine from the song “All for the Best” from the musical. If you saw or were in the variety show it is the same closing dance as in the production ‘An Eclectic Cabaret’.

Come with energy and enthusiasm to one mandatory rehearsal, no dance experience is needed to join the fun. The two rehearsals to learn the routine will be held on July 1 at 5 to 6 p.m. and July 3 from 5 to 6 p.m. located in the Recreational Room at the First Presbyterian Church of Southampton (2 South Main Street).

On the morning of the mob there meet at the church at 9:20 a.m. for breakfast and a last minute practice all together. Don’t forget to get decked out in your holiday colors, and OFVS will also be providing a t-shirt for each mob member! More information on the event is to be given at the meetings.
