Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor played home to a night of laughs, music and original art on Saturday, August 3, as Joy Behar, Susie Essman, Julie Halson, Angela LaGreca, and Mercedes Ruehl took the stage to raise money for the non-profit’s summer and educational programs.
Liza Minnelli, Ted and Dina Merrill Hartley, Robert Zimmerman, and Bruce T. Sloane were in attendance. Leslie Avayzian participated in one of the readings.
“We are so thankful to all of these talented women for this incredible show,” said Executive Director Tracy Mitchell. “This benefit was such a huge success and we can’t thank them enough for their generosity.”
The event turned out a full house and raised over $25,000.
