Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith Kicks Off Hamptons Fireside Sessions

Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor is kicking off the New Year with weekly “Fireside Sessions with Nancy Atlas and a special guest.” The first set will feature Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

“We wanted to offer something different this winter,” said Gary Hygom, Producer at Bay Street Theatre. “The sessions with Nancy are a perfect way to keep warm on a Friday night and just have a good time with the music.”

The series will begin on Friday, January 3 and will take place every Friday in January and February (excluding February 7). Each week will showcase a different notable visitor as well as the music stylings of the Nancy Atlas Project. The lineup includes Andy Aledort, sideman for Dicky Betts, on Friday, January 10 and Danny Keane, Funk and R&B keyboardist on Friday, January 17, guest violinist Randi Fishenfeld on Friday, January 24, and Jonny Rosch on Friday, January 31.

February kicks off on Valentine’s Day with keyboardist Brian Mitchell. The final two weeks will feature a retrospective concert on the music of Nancy Atlas called Atlas on Atlas on Friday, February 21, and Arno Hecht of The Uptown Horns on Friday, February 28.

The cost is $15 per session.
