Has your love life been comical this year? With Valentine’s Day looming, chances are you could use a good laugh.
On Friday, February 12th at 8 p.m., Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is once again presenting its All Star Comedy Show hosted by Joseph Vecsey. The special engagement will feature stand-up from Dante Nero and Chris Clarke.
Joseph Vecsey, who you might recognize from his Optimum Cable TV commercial called The Un-Movers, has hosted the All Star show at Bay Street for the past three years. The up-and-coming star also hosts The Call Back Podcast and wrote, acted, edited, and directed a sketch for MTV2’s Uncommon Sense called Stud Walk. Last year Vecsey helped create the laughs for Happy Madison’s The Do Over starring Adam Sandler and David Spade, as an on set writer for the comedy which is expected to be released in 2016.
Dante Nero was a co-host of Sirius XM Radio’s The Black Phillip Show with Patrice O’Neal. The Brooklyn-based comedian and actor has appeared on The Opie & Anthony Channel, Hot 97, Chappelle’s Show, Z Rock on IFC, Damages on FX, Fringe on FOX, and NBC’s The Blacklist.
Chris Clarke has made the rounds at comedy clubs across the Northeast, including performances at Gotham Comedy Club, Caroline’s, and The Comic Strip, and he was named runner up at New England’s Funniest Comic Competition. Along with his stand-up shows, Clarke has appeared in several independent films and sketches, and on BET’s 106th Park and Comic View. His Crazy Roomies tour is a hit on the college circuit and foodies may know him as comedic food critic C-Snacks’, a member of Teamdaym, who has gained over 30 million YouTube views on their hysterical weekly food reviews.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
