You can count on a sidesplittingly hilarious evening at Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts on Friday, January 17 when All Star Stand-up Comedy launches its 2020 season.
“As we approach our ten year mark of the All Star Comedy Show, we have another excellent line up,” comedian Joseph Vecsey, who curates and often hosts the series, said. “We are starting 2020 off right with these three comedians.”
The latest iteration will feature sets from Ken Krantz, Sergio Chicon, and Dawn B.
Krantz, who has been a tri-state comedy scene regular since 2009, has performed at Gotham, The Stand, The Stress Factory, Stand Up NY and The Comedy Shoppe. He has his own monthly show, Funny Faces, at Gotham comedy club, and is a contributing writer for A-List Comedy. He has also been featured on Sirius XM Radio and made his television debut on AXS’s Live From Gotham.
Chicon has been featured on Comedy Central’s Funaticos and Los LOL, SITV, Comedy Net, BET on Blast, and MTV TR3S. The New York City native produces his own new talent show, Serg’s Fresh Faces, at New York City’s Laugh Lounge, which highlights rising stars.
Dawn B, who originally hails from Chicago, but now calls Brooklyn home, has showcased her talents on the Mixtape Comedy Show and Real Deal Comedy Jam. “Dawn B’s delivers real talk through real comedy covering subjects from a females view point like being single to relationships to men,” the Real Deal Comedy Jam’s website notes.
“It’s gonna be a killer show. Sergio, Dawn, and Ken are all amazing performers and top notch writers,” Vecsey added. “You’re missing a great show of you miss this one.”
The laughs will commence at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30 when purchased in advance and $40 when purchased on the day of the show.
Additional All Star Stand-up Comedy shows are scheduled for February 14 (Special 10th Anniversary Show!) and March 20.
