Hamptons Doc Fest founder/executive director Jacqui Lofaro and Board chair Leslie Siben have announced three new members to its Board of Directors.
Susan Bloom of Sag Harbor, a long-time documentary film fan, had formerly worked for American Express, funding a variety of visual and performing arts programs such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the National Gallery in London and in Washington D.C., the Paris Opera, and the Prado, among others. Later as an independent professional in the international arts arena, she spent decades producing Annie Leibovitz’s touring exhibitions, working with many corporate clients.
Leigh Dance of Southampton, also passionate about documentary films, has been a global communicator and strategist for more than 30 years, advising top corporate and institution executives across all continents and in over 30 companies. She brings to the HDF Board extensive experience in partnership-building, marketing, project management, advocacy and public engagement.
Joseph Miller has been working with filmmakers on the East and West coasts for over 15 years, providing music supervision, music strategy services, and music solutions to filmmakers for their films. Two films include the Oscar-nominated “RBG” and the Hamptons Doc Fest’s Closing Night Film this past December 11—the IMAX documentary “The Lost Wolves of Yellowstone.” He lives on eastern Long Island and plays guitar in a popular cover band.
Bloom, Dance and Miller join previous Board members Taimoor Choudhry, Brett Colbert, Brian Gemino, Sharon Held, Deborah Kooperstein, Leslie Siben and Jason Weinberg on the 10-member Board.
