Kicking off the season on March 16th, audiences can immerse themselves in the Irish spirit on St. Patrick’s Day with U2 Decades, a thrilling tribute to the iconic Irish pop and rock legends. Michael Schmidt, a Long Island singer, channels the essence of lead singer Bono, creating a must-see experience for U2 fans. Grammy-winner Robert Cray returns on March 23rd, treating the audience to his signature blues-rock sound that has made him a fan favorite for over five decades.
May 5th brings the Trailblazing Women of Country, a dazzling tribute to female icons in the country music world. Featuring soloists Miko Marks and Kristina Train, supported by an all-female band, this performance promises to entertain and inspire. Marketing Director Heather Draskin encourages fans of Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn not to miss this highlight of the spring season.
Guitar enthusiasts will delight in the virtuosic skills of Tommy Emmanuel on May 12th. Recognized as a “Certified Guitar Professional” by Chet Atkins, Emmanuel has released over 25 albums since his debut in 1979. On May 22nd, the Allman Betts Band, founded by rockers Devon Allman, Duane Betts, and Berry Duane Oakley in 2018, brings their heavy-hitting southern rock to the Mollie Parnis Auditorium. As the sons of Allman Brothers Band founders, this hard-rocking ensemble is a legend on the festival circuit.
Closing out the spring season on June 1st is the return of Americana singer John Hiatt, offering an intimate and acoustic evening featuring his beloved catalog. Draskin anticipates this as an exciting preview of what’s to come in the rest of the summer Mainstage season at WHBPAC.
