“With a fantastic line-up of nearly 100 participating authors, this year’s Authors Night promises to be another record-breaking success for the East Hampton Library,” said Sheila Rogers, President of the East Hampton Library’s Board of Managers and Authors Night event co-chair. “After the book signing cocktail reception, two dozen dinner parties featuring guest authors will take place throughout East Hampton — with 600 people simultaneously sitting down to share a memorable meal with one of their favorite authors.”
From 5 to 7:30 p.m., attendees will enjoy hors d’oeuvres and wine under the tent, as they meet their favorite authors, buy their books and have them inscribed during an Authors Book Signing Cocktail Reception. At 8 p.m., directly following the Authors Reception, guests can join a beloved writer during an exclusive dinner party at a spectacular Hamptons home. Dinner parties, hosted in honor of the guest authors, will be held across East Hampton.
“We do still have some dinner party seats still available, so I encourage people to visit authorsnight.org to purchase their tickets, or contact me directly at 631-907-0106,” noted Rogers. “See you Saturday!”
Tickets to Authors Night are $100 and dinner party tickets start at $300 (includes entry to the book signing reception).
All proceeds from the evening benefit East Hampton Library.
