Scotch may not immediately jump out at you when you’re thinking about summer cocktails, but National Scotch Day is Monday, July 27th, and we think when combined with the right mixers (although we are a fan of it on the rocks), scotch makes a great warm weather spirit. So after a long day at work this National Scotch Day, kick back and relax with one of these cocktails.

1. Usquaebach Highlands Dash: (Created by Warren Bobrow)
Directions: Fill a highball with crushed ice. Add Usquaebach, lemon juice, grapefruit bitters, and honey simple syrup to an ice-filled Boston shaker. Shake, and strain into highball. Add a pinch of the zested sea salt and finish with sparkling water. Serve with an orange twist.
2. Smoked Hefeweizen:
Directions: Build in order in a pint glass or beer mug. Garnish with an orange wheel on the rim.

Directions: Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice, garnish with mint.
4. The Front Porch Punch: (Created by Eryn Reece of Death & Co.)
Directions: Using the chai tea infused Famous Grouse as the base, combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain onto fresh ice in a rocks glass and garnish with lemon wheels.
Chai-Tea Infused Famous Grouse:
Directions: Add 4 tablespoons loose leaf chai tea to a 750 mL bottle of The Famous Grouse. Let sit for at least half an hour and strain desired amount.
