It’s been a pretty brutal winter in the Hamptons, but one East End Village is preparing for their annual frosty celebration.
HarborFrost in Sag Harbor kicks off with The Frost Ball at Muse in the Harbor (16 Main Street, 631-899-4810, museintheharbor.com) on Friday, February 7. The party from 6 to 10 p.m., will feature tasty hors d’oeuvres, an open bar and music all night from a DJ. Tickets are $65 for Chamber members and $75 for non-members. Also on Friday, enjoy “A Chorus Line” at 7 p.m. at the Pierson Auditorium (200 Jermain Avenue, 631-725-5300, www.sagharborschools.org) and at 8 p.m., catch “50 Years of The Beatles” at Bay Street Theatre(1 Bay Street, 631-725-9500, www.baystreet.org).
Saturday, February 8, begins with “Row Hard, No Excuses” at the American Legion (6 Bay Street, 631-725-9759, www.legion.org) from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Festival is throwing a Family Fun Day on the Long Wharf, so bring the kids to watch intricate ice carving at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., daring fire dancers at 5:30 p.m., and fireworks by Grucci at 6 p.m. Walk along Main Street to check out special sales, restaurant specials, live music from 12 to 5 p.m., a culinary stroll from 1 to 5:30 p.m., and ZIMA! A Treasure Hunt at the Civil War Monument at 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. If you missed the first performance of “A Chorus Line,” you have two more opportunities on Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

For those of you who don’t mind the chilly temps, pledge to take the Frost Plunge at 2 p.m. Winter warriors will bravely enter the water at Windmill Beach and proceeds will benefit Sag Harbor Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Pierson High School Theater and Arts.
The final event on Saturday is a celebration of the Beatles 50th Anniversary in America starting at 8 p.m. Bay Street will host the tribute concert featuring Inda Eaton, Gene Casey, Caroline Doctorow, Mama Lee & Rose, Corky Laing, Joe Delia, Dawnette Darden, Joe Lauro, and Jim Turner.
Harborfrost wraps up on Sunday, February 9, with a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Main Firehouse (631-725-0252, www.sagharborfd.com) benefiting the Sag Harbor Junior Fire Department. After fueling up, head to Mashashimuet Park for the Hike for Harborfrost at 10 a.m. The winter festivities conclude at 7 p.m., with a screening of “The Beatles on Ed Sullivan,” at Bay Street.
