Your New York Knicks have made the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999! That means it’s time to show your support for the home team, even if you don’t know Jalen from Rick Brunsen. This year, instead of pointing fingers at all the newly minted New York “die-hards” (not me, of course!), we’re going to give everyone a pass if they skipped out on the Eddy Curry years.
We love to floss in the Hamptons, but tickets to MSG start at $6,000 – so, I’ll likely be cheering from a local bar (but, if you got extra tickets, let me know). Here are our favorite Hamptons bars to watch the Knicks in the NBA Finals (full schedule at the bottom).
Also, if you haven’t been following the Knicks’ historic run through the 2026 playoffs, we’ll give you some talking points in case you are suddenly surrounded by Knicks fans and need to fit in.
Where to Watch the Knicks in the Hamptons
Springs Tavern (Springs)
For real, the Springs Tavern crowd is lively, and it packs out (as seen in the main photo). A great sports crowd – don’t bring any Spurs fans here with you. Get ready for spontaneous, joyful singing and excitement.
Murf’s (Sag Harbor)
Murf’s is a proper local bar, which also means there is only one TV, but of course, they are going to be playing the Knicks. No Spurs fans here, so you won’t have to battle the barflies for control of the game.
Calissa (Water Mill)
Don’t let the excellent food and chic vibe fool you – Calissa is a perfect host for the Knicks! Especially since Calissa has a full 12-foot screen, they are unveiling to show the games (they will also keep it up for the World Cup later this month).
Townline BBQ (Sagaponack)
Townline BBQ has plenty of room to spread out, plenty to eat, and pool tables in case Wemby has gone full alien. This is where you will find me.
Cittanuova (East Hampton Village)
Cittanuova has great local energy and, somewhat unexpectedly, a very solid sports bar culture. It is the kind of place where a good meal and a good game can comfortably coexist, which is not always as common in the Hamptons as it should be.
Best Pizza & Dive Bar (Montauk)
Sure, we all miss the old location on the Stretch, but Best Pizza & Dive Bar still delivers as a strong, unfussy place to catch a game out east. Pizza, drinks, TVs, and the right amount of chaos.
Union Burger (Southampton Village)
Union Burger is Southampton Village’s best sports bar, full stop. It is casual, reliable, and a great place for even the most fair-weather fans.
TL;DR about YOUR 2026 New York Knicks
So, if you’re sitting next to Spike Lee, Timothee Chalemet, and Tina Fey – how do you make conversation? Here is some elite ball knowledge to help:
– “Have you seen Mitch Robinson’s Instagram??”
– “I just ordered my kid the new Jose Alvarado AND1 shoe!”
– “Have you guys tried out Tommy John’s new Josh Hart line?”
– “If we stack Diawara and Dadiet on top of each other, they’re basically Wemby.”
– “I knew I loved Jalen Brunson the first time I saw him get star-struck seeing Mariska Hargitay.”
– “Can you believe how great Mikal Bridges has been since the Hawks series??”
– “Coach Brown has impressed me a lot this season. I’m not sure Thibs would have been able to get this level of buy-in from the squad.”
– “If we win, I’m going to quit my job and follow JD & the Straight Shot on their summer tour.”
