Actor Stephen Baldwin and Philanthropist Jean Shafiroff hosted a book release party for Remi Adeleke, the Nigerian prince exiled as a child, raised by a widowed mother in the Bronx and forged by his experience as a Navy Seal. He chronicled his story in his new book, “Transformation: A Navy Seal’s Unlikely Journey from the Throne of Africa, to the Streets of the Bronx, to Defying All Odds.” The night also marked a sneak peak at Marble Downtown, a new restaurant in the meatpacking district.
