
Buckskill Winter Club is proud to host the 12th Annual Katy’s Courage Fundraiser on Saturday, February 24th, featuring a full day of activities to benefit the Katy’s Courage organization. The event will take place all day and is open to the public, free of charge.
Attendees can enjoy various fundraising activities, including a bake sale, raffle, and silent auction. Additionally, there will be thrilling performances during the Ice show, curling games, puck throw competitions, and exciting hockey games throughout the day.
The schedule for the event is as follows:
10:30-11:30: Kids Group Skating Lessons
11:30-1:00pm: Public Skating
1:15-1:30pm: Puck Throw
1:30-3:00pm: Public Skating
3:15-5:45pm: Public Skating
4:00-5:00pm: Curling
6:00-6:15pm: Ice Show: Warm-Up
6:15-7:15pm: Ice Show
7:30-9:00pm: Junior Hockey Game
9:15-10:45pm: Adult Hockey Game
The highlight of the evening will be the free Ice Show starting at 6:15pm, showcasing talented skaters from the community and professional guest skaters from Ice Theater of New York.
While the event is free for all, those interested in participating in specific activities such as the puck throw, public skating, or purchasing raffle tickets will be contributing to Katy’s Courage. All proceeds from these activities will directly support the organization’s mission.
Katy’s Courage is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 2012 in memory of Katy Stewart, who courageously battled pediatric liver cancer. The organization is dedicated to funding local school scholarships, pediatric cancer research, and providing support for children and families dealing with loss through programs like Katy’s Kids @ CMEE.
