"Bakithi offers us a new dimension to international understanding through music," noted Patricia Snyder.
"A matinee sure to delight with show-stopping Broadway tunes and select holiday favorites," shared Executive Director, Clare Bisceglia.
"There were beautiful Dubuffets, Marino Marini's, and a smattering of gorgeous Matisses all around the room," said Lehr. "I also was struck by Sean Scully and rising star Stanley Witney's geometric abstractions."
"The concert will follow a chronological time line of New Orleans music ending with the more current brass band style as exemplified by Trombone Shorty and the Soul Rebels," remarked drummer Claes Brondal.
"I am so beyond proud of Brooke Bierfriend and the entire cast of dancers," shared Meredith Shumway. "We can't wait until opening night!"
"Bill King was such a warm supporter of my poetry," Chaskey explained, "and the inspiration for this book from the beginning."
"The Hampton Theatre Company celebrates the holidays with a selection of delightful stories by Arthur Conan Doyle, Isaac Bashevis Singer, O. Henry and many more accompanied by festive music and delicious treats," noted Sarah Hunnewell.
"PechaKucha Night Hamptons at the Parrish is hugely popular because it reveals the incredible creative wealth of the East End and how it reverberates beyond this region," said Corinne Erni.
"Everyone's heard of the Hamptons. That's like your mom's friend who wears pearls," cast member Kyle Cooke explained.
"John is most known for his landscapes, but at Ashawagh the focus will be on a compelling new collection of semi-abstractions with a particular emphasis on botanical forms," noted fellow artist Anahi DeCanio.
