As you walk around Sag Harbor Village enjoying the many HarborFrost happenings, keep an eye, and ear, out for these free musical performances.

"The word 'Zima' is Polish for winter, so the backdrop for this performance couldn't be more fitting," said Kate Mueth, Artistic Director. "This piece will be an interactive winter journey, combining mystery, poetry, theater and exploration."

This year's highly competitive Academy Awards race for short films include "Aya," "Boogaloo and Graham," "Butter Lamp" or "La Lampe au Beurre de Yak," "Parvaneh," and "The Phone Call."

The Hamptons International Film Festival hosted its 6th annual Winter Classic with the screening of Director John Ford's film, "The Searchers." The event was hosted by Alec Baldwin and HIFF Artistic Director, David Nugent and was well attend in spite of a forecast of troubling travel conditions.

Special Family Month programming debuted during the opening reception of the Hamptons Museum's annual Student Exhibit featuring works from over 2,000 young local artists.

Following a success string of performances in Eugene Onegin, soprano Anna Netrebko stars in yet another Tchaikovsky masterpiece during the Hamptons double bill.

"Children are eager to share observations about art," noted Education Director Cara Conklin-Wingfield. "This enthusiasm, combined with guided discussion, leads to deep engagement and collaborative learning."

Jay & The Americans, vocal group hall of famers, and one of the '60s and '70s greatest doo-wop groups, will hit the stage at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center.

"We are proud to offer our audience a world premiere as part of the season, continuing our commitment to making Bay Street a center for new works for the theater," said Artistic Director Scott Schwartz.
