"July 15 will be an epic night of local legends," said Tracy McCarthy.

The one-hour drama for Freeform is based on Jasmin Rosemberg's 2008 book How the Other Half Hamptons.

The Wall Street Journal said A Kid Like Jake was "A daring drama with a heavyweight cast, a gracefully delivered message and a hellish problem — specifically, other people."

"Interesting what a difference one season can make with Art Hamptons fading out and Upstairs Art Fair along with The Bridge filling the void," said Bill Powers.

"SAC board member Elyn Kronemeyer and I had both seen the 2017 Spielberg documentary by Susan Lacy and collectively came up with the idea to focus solely on Steven's films, recalling that previous screenings of his classics in summer's past have always been audience favorites," said Amy Kirwin.

The chorus will lead the audience through the this piece of fortune's fickleness, the ephemeral nature of life and the joy of the return on spring. Music director and conductor Mark Mangini calls the evocation "a real trip."

The popular series welcomes a talented lineup to Agawam Park and Cooper's Beach.
