On the one Sunday night before Labor Day all over the Hamptons every light in almost every room of almost every home seemed to be on.
"We are looking forward to a great event with lots of activities for children including some old fashioned fun like tug of war and corn shucking contests," Lisa Field noted.
"This year we continue to support the rebuild of this iconic institution by leveraging our platform for good and delivering one-of-a-kind experiences and items," said Brenda Halkias.
"What brings more joy to the world than children and animals? We're so grateful that the proceeds from Barking Beauty Pageant will be benefitting both dogs and WHBPAC Arts Academy programs," Julienne Penza-Boone noted.
You wake up to the sound of the Atlantic Ocean waves pounding the shoreline along with a strong off-shore breeze punctuated by the sounds of seagulls greeting the morning sunlight in mass high above the surf.
"I believe strongly that we're going to have a lot of work to do, the next president of the United States, to repair our alliances," Biden told the crowd.
Many of the artists have been with the show for over 40 years.
Southampton Village Mayor Jesse Warren, a surfer himself, advised, "We had an old archaic law on the books for whatever reason, and it came to light when a disgruntled community member called to complain. That is when we immediately took action to review and update the restriction."
"The tips and techniques about 'small space living' that will be discussed by the speakers are really applicable to homes of all sizes," Chip Rae relayed.
With the annual Hampton Classic in Bridgehampton and the wonderful shows at Guild Hall and Bay Street, there are plenty of big-time events and parties to dress up and see, be seen, and enjoy.
