"We know the most effective way to reduce the spread of this virus is through social distancing and density reduction measures," Governor Andrew M. Cuomo stated.

"Although the ARF Adoption Center is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are still hoping to find our cats and dogs their forever homes," Jamie Berger relayed.

"East End Cares (EEC) is mobilizing to assist during this uncertain time," Melissa Berman of East End Cares shared. "We are looking at the best way to serve and facilitate the good will of our amazing volunteer community."

Less than a week after the Town of East Hampton declared a State of Emergency, Southampton Town has followed suit.

"There is a new way of living today because of this - it's the new normal right now, and I just hope life will return to what is was, but for the time being sacrifices and changes in our lives must be addressed," Robert Anthony told Hamptons.com.

At first, I drove by as I was focused on getting to the North Fork Community Theatre early for the Sunday matinee, but since I was really early, I stopped and did a u-turn to check out this moonshine place.

"The student players are excited to showcase their Scrabble skills, as well as use this opportunity to prepare for the competition," Kathy Hummel noted. "This year's competitors come from Hampton Bays, East Quogue and Southampton School Districts."
