The Retreat Still In Need Of Support For Adopt-A-Family Program

The Retreat is asking Hamptons residents to embrace the season of giving by supporting their annual Holiday Giving Adopt-A-Family Program. Through the help of generous donations, the East Hampton agency will provide a happy holiday experience for courageous families affected by domestic violence.

The organization sees a rise in families seeking out their services during the holidays. In an effort to brighten the difficult time of the year, The Retreat is collecting presents and gift cards for those in need. Many families are still waiting to be “adopted,” and the program’s Wednesday, December 18, deadline is quickly approaching.

The Retreat is also holding a Gift Card Drive for gift cards to local food, gas, and retail stores. The drive allows clients to shop on their own and then provide a holiday meal for their families. Gift cards must arrive by Thursday, December 12.
