“I found Fit4Mom – Stroller Strides while walking my twin boys (who were 7-months-old at the time) down the boardwalk near my home,” said Brooke Cracco, who started the Hamptons Fit4Mom franchise. “I was desperately looking for an outlet to get me out of ‘mommy-brain’ and put my life and body back on track.”
Fit4Mom, the largest national stroller workout plan for pre and post-natal moms, is a one hour full-body workout regimen that gives women an opportunity to focus on their physical, mental and emotional health.
After 10 years in the New York City corporate world, the Sagaponack native decided to return to the East End to put down roots with her husband and two little boys. She was such a big fan of Fit4Mom that she wanted to find a way to bring it to the Hamptons area, so in December of 2013 she purchased the Westhampton to Montauk franchise.

“We are more than just a 1 hour workout….we are a community.” Fit4Mom forms a bond between moms and children through fitness training as well as during family fun days, moms night out, organized stroller friendly runs, and an after-class program that offers playdates, which are free of charge.
The initial Hamptons program was launched indoors in Southampton this past February. For the spring and summer seasons, they are bringing the workouts outside. Starting Wednesday, April 30, moms can take an outdoor class every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor. They begin at 11 a.m., but attendees should meet 15 minutes before each session in front of the grand stands by the baseball field.
“This program has changed all of our lives in more ways than I can count,” said Cracco. “We have made friends, created a community for my boys and genuinely found our home.”

“There is such a strong need for this kind of community for moms and families here,” expressed Cracco. The program engages and entertains toddlers during the workout by weaving songs, numbers and colors into the sessions.
Hamptons Fit4Mom also plans to add a Stroller Barre Class on Thursdays throughout the summer at the YMCA East Hampton Rec Center in East Hampton.
