Join the Joseph J. Theinert Memorial Foundation for a benefit Flywheel Sports class at the Sag Harbor studio and sweat it out for the cause on Friday, August 15, 2014, at 6 p.m. John Wellmann will be leading the ride, which is open to all, even first time riders.
Proceeds from the class will benefit the Foundation’s mission to award scholarships in memory of 1LT Joe Theinert, who was killed in action during combat operations in Afghanistan on June 4, 2010. The Foundation also provides crucial support to organizations that enrich the lives of active and veteran United States service members, their dependents and caregivers, and Gold Star Families. They are currently working towards building Strongpoint Theinert, a place for spiritual, mental and physical rehab for returning soldiers as well as their families. The New Mexico facility will be a place where returning soldiers can come with their families and resume a healthy life.
