Barrier Beach Preservation Association Holding Hamptons Cruzin In The Dunes 5K Race

On Saturday, September 6, 2014, join Barrier Beach Preservation Association (BBPA) for Cruzin In The Dunes 5k Race. The benefit race will take place along Dune Road in Westhampton Beach.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and Cruzin In The Dunes kicks off at 9 a.m. The 5k is a great way to help restore the bay as well as burn off a few of those extra Labor Day weekend calories.

The race will be followed by the Westhampton Village Meeting at Pike’s Beach at 11 a.m. and a Village Picnic at 1 p.m. The picnic is open to the public and will also take place at Pike’s Beach.

Barrier Beach Preservation Association’s mission is to preserve and protect the beaches, bays, wetlands and wildlife of West Hampton Dunes for the benefit of its citizens and visitors, as well as promote respect for the coastal environment through public education and scientific research.
