On Sunday, October 12, 2014, Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, Inc. (ARF) is holding their 21st Annual “Stroll to the Sea” Dog Walk from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The two-mile walk to the ocean is intended to promote responsible dog ownership and awareness of ARF. Following the walk, attendees can enter a variety of contests like Dog/Owner Look Alike, The Pooch Who Can Smooch, and Stupid Pet Tricks. First place winners will walk away with a crystal dog by Baccarat. The dog contests and awards ceremony begin at 11 a.m. and will feature a special “Friends of Animals award presentation to the Sag Harbor Village Fire Department’s Dive Team, who assisted rescuing a dog trapped in frigid icy water last winter at Long Beach. Four legged friends can test out their skills on the dog agility course. Once again, singer/songwriter Sandy Rapp will entertain guests playing favorites on the guitar. Attendees can support ARF by bidding on the silent and Chinese auction.
