Run For East End Education During Third Annual Run For Ross 5K Run/Walk

On Saturday, October 18, 2014, the Ross School is holding the Third Annual Run for Ross 5K Run/Walk. The 5K will begin and end at Main Beach in East Hampton. Participants will enjoy a flat course along a stretch of prime oceanfront Hamptons property.

Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. at the Main Beach pavilion. The morning will include tai chi, a favorite Ross School wellness tradition. Both adults and children are invited to join in on the seaside exercise class, which will take place during registration.

All proceeds from the Third Annual Run for Ross 5K Run/Walk will benefit the Steven J. Ross Scholarship Fund. The Fund was created to ensure that all children have the opportunity to benefit from a Ross School education, regardless of economic circumstances. During the during 2013-2014 academic year, the scholarship granted financial assistance to over one third of Ross students.

Entry is $20 in advance, $25 on the Day of Race, $10 for students, free for children 10 and under.
