This holiday season, Cintas Corporation was thinking pink when they helped brighten the season of giving for Southampton Hospital’s Ellen Hermanson Breast Center. The provider of specialized services recently made a donation of 50 gift items to the Ellen Hermanson Breast Center, which will elevate the “pink ribbon bags” that are given to patients undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
“Cintas Corporation donated additional ‘feel good items’ such as pink cozy socks, blanket, hat, lotion, lip balm, and a candle just to make sure patients know that people care and are thinking about them,” noted Susie Roden, Community Outreach Coordinator for the Ellen Hermanson Breast Center. The generous contribution, which is valued at $1,250, shows that even a simple, thoughtful gift like a candle can help put a smile on the face of someone facing a difficult time.
The Ellen Hermanson Breast Center, which is an American College of Radiology (ACR) designated Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, offers a wide spectrum of breast health services, including education, early detection screenings and breast cancer treatment and support.
