The world-class Hampton Classic, one of the largest outdoor horse shows in the U.S., has returned to Bridgehampton.
Taking place from Sunday, August 26 through Sunday, September 2, the Show features a plethora of the top jumping riders who are vying to land a spot in the grand finale — the $300,000 Hampton Classic Grand Prix on the Classic’s final Sunday.
The expansive 60-acre show grounds boasts six show rings, as well as a high-end Boutique Garden that features over 70 vendors. There is also a wide variety of dining options.
“The Hampton Classic offers something for everyone,” said Shanette Barth Cohen, the Classic’s Executive Director. “We feature the nation’s best horses and riders and a full array of attractions for every member of the family, whether fans of the sport of not. We are so excited to welcome everyone back this year as we celebrate the Classic’s 43rd annual event.”
This year’s Classic will welcome more than 200 hunter, jumper and equitation classes of competition – with a myriad of ages and abilities, ranging from leadline classes to the grand prix show – competing.
Each year the Classic brings out a group of notable names, with previous attendees including Jennifer Lopez, Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa, Jimmy Fallon, Billy Joel, Jon Bon Jovi, Jerry Seinfeld, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, Sofia Vergara, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Julianne Moore and Michael Bloomberg.
