Located in a renovated potato barn in Water Mill is an unbelievably beautiful gym called Core Dynamics. The ceilings are impressively high, the equipment is state-of-the-art, and the entire gym sparkles due to its exceptional cleanliness.
When I first heard about Core Dynamics from a friend, I immediately assumed it was out of my price range. Gyms with this level of equipment and quality typically cost over $200 a month to join, if not more. However, I was delighted to learn that if you’re a year-rounder, you can join Core Dynamics for just $75 a month. It’s completely worth it and exceptionally reasonable.
The gym is owned and operated by Jim O’Hagan, who is actively involved and provides advice and training to clients. Ann Meras, frequently seen at the front desk, is a local and also serves as the gym’s manager. She shared, “The benefits of this gym are its cleanliness, impeccable service, and our sense of being a small community gym. I know everybody who comes here; it’s an intimate setting, and I treat them like family, which I thoroughly enjoy.”
During the summer, the gym offers outdoor training sessions on a scenic lawn, which is a unique and fantastic feature. To help you locate the gym, it’s conveniently situated just up the road from Hampton Coffee in Water Mill, off Deerfield Road. This location is ideal whether you’re heading into or out of the Hamptons in the morning or evening and looking to squeeze in a workout.
Jim O’Hagan added, “The gym doesn’t resemble a traditional fitness center; it’s a stunning space. The renovated potato barn lends it a luxurious atmosphere. Our clientele here is exceptional. Everyone is respectful, focused on working out, and appreciates the environment.”
I genuinely enjoy the gym and always search for enjoyable, affordable, and convenient places to work out in winter. Core Dynamics is undoubtedly one of those places.
