Join Ma’s House for Firmly Rooted: Intuitive Reflections, a free public workshop with current resident artist Lehna Huie on Sunday, May 31 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. This portraiture and mixed media workshop uses self-expression as a tool to explore identity, memory, intuition, and reflection. Participants will create artworks through deep reflection and visioning using colorful materials, with space to honor community, lineage, hope, and the present moment.

Participants are encouraged to bring photos, papers, and other meaningful materials that can be incorporated into collage and mixed media work. Lehna Huie is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and cultural worker whose work draws from Caribbean oral histories, dream landscapes, memory, lineage, and ritual. Free and open to the public.
