Pollinators are in decline for many reasons. One out of every third bite of food we eat needs a pollinator. 75% of all flowering plants require a pollinator to move pollen to assure reproduction and biodiversity. Entomologist Jared Dyer will lecture on this very important ecological subject. Dyer works with farmers thru Cornell CCE/Riverhead developing biological controls as part of IPM Come hear what he has to teach us!!
