French-born and LA-based Street Artist Punk Me Tender launches his “Love Me Tender” World Tour in the Hamptons at The White Room Gallery in Bridgehampton. The Exhibit will run from June 8–25 and include a special Live Art Performance and Reception on June 17 (5–7pm).
“Welcome to the world of vibrancy,” say co-founders and co-owners McCafferty and Kat O’Neill, who have—yet again!—curated an exceptional exhibit that breaks the mold for what an art exhibit in the Hamptons can deliver.
Punk Me Tender’s art is an explosion of color and vibrancy, free-flowing and transforming. Freedom of expression permeates the artist’s work, playfully attending to beauty, spirit, and transformation themes. Punk Me Tender’s art is an instinctual and spontaneous expression without a formal structure or specific rule.
Hallmarks for the artist are his legendary butterfly motifs and the use of spinning techniques to create his art. In his work, the butterfly represents the beauty and transformation that art inspires. Spin art enables his art to take shape, a process the artist says “is as transformative as the caterpillar turning into a butterfly.”

There is easy alignment between the artist and the gallery, sharing an unpretentious sensibility and appreciation for vibrant colors. In his role as an artist, Punk Me Tender says, “Artists need to keep making art to remind people of what freedom looks like.” The White Room Gallery shares this aim, and together, they are bringing something special to the Hamptons.
The curators look to Henry Matisse to understand this artist and exhibit, “’ Color helps to express light—not the physical phenomenon, but the only light that really exists, that in the artist’s brain’…And into that brain, we go for this solo exhibit.”
Born in Paris, Punk Me Tender is an internationally celebrated Street artist with works appearing in over 30 high-end, many luxury hotels, and celebrity art collectors, including Khloé Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Kylie Jenner, Mariah Carey, and Dave Navarro.
Live Art Performances are a signature for Punk Me Tender, and a performance at the exhibit’s opening night on June 17 “promises to be très magnifique,” says the excited curators.
