Barbecuing and Labor Day weekend go hand in hand, especially in the Hamptons.
If you plan on firing up the grill this holiday weekend, don’t forget to stop by Schmidt’s Market in Southampton, who will be welcoming New York Prime Beef.
“After a great summer grilling at the Hamptons best events, we are delighted to make our prime steaks available over the weekend at Schmidt’s,” noted Chef Josh Tanner of New York Prime Beef. “We have our best butchers on hand all weekend with cooking tips and bespoke cuts of the best steak on the planet.”
New York Prime Beef butchers will be on site Thursday, August 31 through Monday, September 4 to present New York Prime Beef’s New York Strip, Porterhouse, T-Bone, Wagyu and Kobe steaks, all of which are dry-aged for at least 28 days or custom “aged to order” in the New York Prime Beef’s state of the art temperature-controlled dry aging facility in the Bronx.
While New York Prime Beef typically ships their steaks fresh never frozen overnight, this Hamptons pop-up will offer customers the chance to hand pick their steak and speak with New York Prime Beef’s knowledgeable butchers about what’s the best cut for their Labor Day weekend gathering.
The New York Prime Beef at Schmidt’s Market pop-up will be open on Thursday from 12 to to 6:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Sunday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday from 6 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
