The East End’s premier sushi restaurant, Kissaki, is expanding its offerings this summer with a new location in East Hampton called O by Kissaki. After a very successful summer in Water Mill, restaurateur Garry Kanfer is eager to spread the famed restaurant’s world-class sushi and omakase traditional Japanese menu to a neighboring town.
The new location will offer the same high-quality self-imported sushi-grade fish, alongside a small plate menu composed of raw crudos and hot robata grilled items. The beverage menu will include a lengthy list of craft cocktails in addition to a wide selection of sake, wine and craft beer.
In other exciting news, Kissaki is partnering with Fish Cheeks owner, Jennifer Saesue, for a pop-up at the Montauk Angler’s Club located at 467 East Lake Drive. The pop-up will be open from Memorial Day Weekend through Sunday, October 31 and features a Southern Thai menu with Kissaki’s full sushi offerings. There will also be sake, beer, wine, and cocktails to go.
“Last year proved that residents and visitors alike were craving top-quality sushi on the East End, which we were excited to deliver to homes, events and at our Water Mill location to diners nightly,” said Kanfer. “This summer season, we’re happy to announce the opening of our Kissaki x Fish Cheeks pop up at Montauk Anglers Club & Marina in addition to the upcoming opening of our newest concept, O by Kissaki in East Hampton, which will complement our Water Mill Kissaki flagship, that will reopen following a gorgeous renovation in June.”
Kanfer is continuing the reach of Kissaki with a debut in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami in 2022.
Kissaki is far more than a standard sushi meal – the service, one-of-a-kind menu features, and ambiance truly makes it a complete experience. Diners are sure to find themselves educated on the traditional Japanese cuisine by the end of their meal. It’s a restaurant that the Hamptons has needed for a long time.
O by Kissaki is located at 47 Montauk Highway in East Hampton. The original Hamptons location is at 670 Montauk Hwy Suite E in Water Mill. For more information, visit explorekissaki.com.
