Enhance your Thanksgiving meal with this easy to make compote created by Simi Winery’s Executive Chef, Kolin Vazzoler, which pairs well with the 2011 Simi Sonoma County Pinot Noir.
1. Combine all ingredients and place over medium heat.
2. Bring to a boil.
3. Remove from heat and let cool.
4. Store in refrigerator.
5. Serve with a roast meat like roast turkey or chicken.
