Last Minute Valentine's Day Dining Suggestions, East To West

Perhaps you are a bit behind in your Valentine’s Day planning, as in you have no plan at all. Here are five dining suggestions to make your Valentine’s Day special from East to West!

Gurney’s Inn/The Sea Grille, Montauk
Gurney’s Inn, Resort & Spa has put together a fabulous Valentine’s Day Dinner in their beautiful ocean view restaurant, The Sea Grille. A four-course fete opens with a choice of five appetizers including Creamy Cupid Chowder and Crispy Sexy Oysters followed by a choice of Two Way Brussels Caesar or Mediterranean Salad. There are five entrees to choose from as well including Pistachio Crusted Rack of Lamb, Surf & Turf and Black & White Codfish. How about a romantic vineyard dinner with wine pairings this Valentine’s Day, or should I say Valentine’s Saturday as Duck Walk South Vineyards in Water Mill is offering a day after Valentine’s Wine Pairing Dinner on February 15th that is extraordinary. This five-course wine pairing dinner features Baby Arugula and Goat Cheese salad paired with Duck Walk’s award winning Pinot Grigio, Jumbo Lump Crabcake with horseradish aioli paired with their 2012 Reserve Chardonnay, Rigatoni with Filetta di Pomodoro paired with a stunning 2010 Pinot Noir, Medallions of Filet Mignon in a port wine demi sauce & roasted local vegetables paired with their 2010 Reserve Merlot and finished off with a Death by Chocolate Valentines Cake paired with Duck Walk’s 2012 Blueberry Port.
