The Southampton Arts Center (SAC) celebrated its 7th Annual Architecture & Design Tour on September 14, 2024, with the theme “Vintage/Reimagined.” This year’s tour highlighted the stunning blend of historic charm and modern innovation, featuring several carefully selected homes in Southampton.
The day began with a delightful private brunch, offering attendees a chance to mingle and connect in a beautiful setting. Following the brunch, a thought-provoking panel discussion took place, led by Brian Brady of Brady Design. Esteemed panelists, including Pamela Glazer, Alvise Orsini, Quinn Pofahl, and Lee Skolnick, shared their insights on the complexities and creative processes involved in modernizing historic homes while maintaining their original character.
Christina Mossaides Strassfield, Executive Director of SAC, expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating, “We’re thrilled to bring together such a distinguished group of architects and designers to share their insights and work with our community.”
This year’s Architecture & Design Tour not only provided a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of vintage and contemporary design but also served as a vital fundraising effort to support SAC’s mission of fostering arts and culture in the community.
