Life’s A Beach For Swimwear Designer Lisa Curran

From growing up on Jersey’s beaches to spending every month of August relaxing with her family in Montauk, having bonfires on the beach, and enjoying the delicious lobster rolls at Duryea’s dock, fashion designer Lisa Curran lives and breaths on the beach.

Since a young age, Lisa always had trouble finding that perfect swimsuit, and now she is determined to offer custom-designed suits for every body type in her Lisa Curran Swim collection.

After getting her start at Barneys New York and Gucci, Lisa’s fashion career took off and she began developing a line of European-styled suits that were sophisticated, chic and trendy. Her collections have since been featured in Glamour, Elle, Lucky and the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition, as well as broadcasted on MTV and E! Entertainment Television.

Using the finest Italian fabrics and designs, inspired by everything from vintage dresses to antique Italian china patterns, the swim collection is now one of best in the industry and appeals to everyone from supermodels and celebrities to moms-to-be.

“Most people are very self-conscious in a swimsuit, so I strive to make women exude confidence in one of my designs. I know how to fit any woman in a swimsuit, and that is the philosophy behind the collection,” Lisa said.
