“So much of the New York City fitness scene packs up and moves to the Hamptons in the summer,” noted Well+Good’s editorial director and co-founder Melisse Gelula. “Most of the top studios—from SoulCycle to Barry’s Bootcamp to AKT in Motion (Anna Kaiser)—have gorgeous Long Island outposts… Some even have multiple locations.”
On Saturday, June 20th, Adam Rosante, founder of The People’s Bootcamp and author of “The 30-Second Body,” is kicking off Well+Good’s Surfside Salutations series at The Surf Lodge.
“We wanted to create a large-scale, destination fitness event,” shared Well+Good’s publisher and co-founder Alexia Brue. “So we teamed up with Surf Lodge, which is such a fun destination from a concert and nightlife perspective, to curate the perfect morning of fitness and wellness.”
The morning will begin with an energy-boosting HIIT workout, followed by a brunch to re-fuel. The event will also feature SUP, Tea Blends by T2, Braid Bar by RPZL and Make Your Own After-Sun Oil with EiR Skincare.
Check-in for Surfside Salutations begins at 9 a.m. and the workout with Rosante starts at 10 a.m. A Workout and Wellness pass is $40, admission to the SUP session is $20 and admission to brunch is $40.
Surfside Salutations will continue with yoga with Heather Lilleston on Saturday, July 11th and dance cardio with Anna Kaiser on Saturday, August 22nd.
The Surf Lodge is located at 183 Edgemere Street in Montauk. For more information, visit www.eventbrite.com.
