Looking for live music in Montauk this summer? Skip the usual suspects and check out these three local spots where great bands, waterfront views, and laid-back vibes take center stage.
Inlet Seafood Dock & Restaurant:
541 E Lake Dr, Montauk
Back for another year, Big Karma, @bigkarma_band on Instagram, will be playing at the Inlet every Sunday. Set along Montauk Harbor, the waterfront venue pairs live music with sweeping sunset views, fishing boats coming and going from the docks, and plenty of outdoor seating right on the water. The laid-back setting makes it the perfect backdrop for this classic rock cover band. But don’t worry, Sunday is not the only time you can hear music at the Inlet! Check out their Instagram @inletseafoodmtk for a monthly lineup featuring local East End musicians every weekend from 6 – 9 PM.
The Light House Cafe:
1999 Montauk Point State Parkway, Montauk
If you’re into reggae Fridays, The Lighthouse Cafe might be for you. Settled at the “End of the World”, the newly opened cafe and bar offers a laid-back atmosphere with outdoor seating and a one-of-a-kind view of the iconic Montauk lighthouse. Every Friday from 5 to 8 p.m., local favorite Rum Punch Mafia, @rumpunchmafia on Instagram, brings its signature reggae sound to the venue. Whether you’re stopping in for a relaxing cocktail or a light bite, Fridays at The Lighthouse are shaping up to be the perfect start to a Hamptons weekend.

The Montauket:
88 Firestone Road, Montauk
Wanting something different every week? The Montauket, known for its impeccable sweeping sunset views perched above Fort Pond Bay, is a longtime local favorite for its casual vibes and weekly live music throughout the summer season.
