The Montauk Music Festival returned for its 15th year this past weekend, bringing four lively days of live music, local energy, and crowds of music lovers to the East End. Presented by the Montauk Sun, the annual festival featured more than 400 performances with over 100 musical acts across 40 venues around Montauk from May 14-17.
The weekend kicked off Thursday night with the Opening Party at Westlake Fish House, where festivalgoers gathered for an evening of live music, cocktails, and dancing. The celebration set the tone for the weekend ahead, giving attendees an early taste of the festival’s diverse lineup of artists.

One of the festival’s biggest attractions was the Main Stage on the Green in the center of town in Montauk, which hosted performances Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Guests filled the lawn with beach chairs and blankets while enjoying the live music, food, and drink from various local vendors. The Main Stage also served a charitable purpose, with a percentage of the proceeds benefitting Lucia’s Angels and the East End Coalition of Women’s Cancers.
Saturday evening also featured a special intimate performance from 70s rock band Zebra at Westlake Fish House. With only 200 tickets available, the exclusive show offered fans a closer concert experience under the venue’s outdoor tent.

Throughout the weekend, performances took place at venues all across Montauk restaurants and bars, allowing festivalgoers to explore the town while discovering both emerging artists and returning festival favorites. From acoustic sets and rock performances to singer-songwriters and late-night acts, the Montauk Music festival once again showcased a wide range of music genres while celebrating Montauk’s local culture and community.
