Chatterbox: Vice President Joe Biden Vacations In The Hamptons

On Thursday, August 11th, comedian Chris Rock dined with his family at Sotto Sopra in Amagansett. The group ordered Veal Milanese, Salmon, Linguini with Clam Sauce, Pizza and Caesar Salads.

Roadies actor Luke Wilson stopped by Nick & Toni’s in East Hampton on Thursday night. He was joined by his girlfriend and the couple enjoyed drinks at the high top tables in the bar area.

Alec Baldwin and a glowing Hilaria Baldwin had dinner with friends at The 1770 House in East Hampton on Thursday.

Vice President Joe Biden is in the Hamptons for his annual summer getaway. On Friday, Vice President Biden was spotted at 75 Main in Southampton with his wife Jill.

Singer/songwriter Kate Nauta debuted some new material, which Lenny Kravitz helped produce, during her performance at The Surf Lodge in Montauk. The evening also included Johnny Lennon’s Far Out Party.

Veterinarians International hosted “Trunks of Love: a Night of Elephants and Champagne” in honor of World Elephant Day on Friday. Held at the Baker House in East Hampton, the evening toasted to Christie Brinkley for her “passionate humanitarianism, achievements in animal advocacy, and leadership in championing the cause of elephants” as well as elephant expert Richard Lair.

Amber Rose – who was recently named the face of Flirt Cosmetics – wore a Marques Almeida Resort 2016 Tiered Asymmetric Denim Dress and Dolce & Gabbana Rose Embellished Square Sunglasses when she hosted Champagne Fridays at Richie Hosein and Zach Erdem’s A.M Southampton nightclub in Southampton.

On Saturday, new mom Nicky Hilton Rothschild was spotted at Kozu in Southampton. The Hamptons hotspot also welcomed Amber Rose and former New York Yankee Jorge Posada.

Pro surfer Balaram Stack, Michael Dweck, Justin Portman, and Surf Lodge owner Jayma Cardoso attended the Surfrider Two Coasts: One Ocean benefit at Eddie Ecker State Park in Montauk. The Saturday evening event included the premiere of filmmaker and pro surfer Mikey DeTemple’s short film – narrated by actor John Slattery – that covers the issues affecting our coastline.

On Sunday afternoon, The Next Food Network Star host Bobby Flay stopped by Bostwick’s Chowder House in East Hampton to pick up some takeout.

Jimmy Buffett and actor Leon Robinson were spotted at the Art Gallery at the Surf Lodge for a reception celebrating artist Ryan McGinness. They stuck around to see Aussie band Hiatus Kaiyote perform. The show also brought out Gigi Burris and Mia Morretti.

New York Jets owner Woody Johnson hosted a benefit for presidential candidate Donald Trump over the weekend.
