This year’s Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) brought out Mariska Hargitay (who served as a judge for the narrative competition) and Peter Hermann, Stranger Weather star Holly Hunter, Bleed for This actor Aaron Eckhart, 20th Century Women stars Elle Fanning and Lucas Jade Zumann and director Mike Mills, American Pastoral actress Dakota Fanning, Bunker77 Executive Producer and Career Achievement Award Honoree Edward Norton, The Ticket star Malin Akerman, Jeremiah Tower: The Last Magnificent Executive Producer Anthony Bourdain, Wig Shop star Emily Mortimer, Davi’s Way star Robert Davi, Loving director Jeff Nichols, Alec Baldwin – who welcomed the crowd at the Opening Night Screening at Guild Hall in East Hampton – and many more notable names.
When Hamptons International Film Festivalgoers had a break in-between world class films, they stopped by a pop-up Art & Music Lounge, presented by Patron, at Monika Olko Gallery in Sag Harbor. Guests included “The Real Housewives of New York City” star Luann de Lesseps and fiancé Thomas D’Agostino, Jr.
On Saturday, Mahershala Ali, Aja Naomi King, Kara Hayward and Riz Ahmed were honored during the Variety 10 Actors to Watch brunch at Nick & Toni’s in East Hampton.
On Monday, prior to attending the HIFF Closing Night screening of her film American Pastoral, Dakota Fanning – who stars alongside Ewan McGregor and Jennifer Connelly in McGregor’s directorial debut – stopped by The 1770 House in East Hampton for a bite to eat. Donna Karan was also spotted there over the holiday weekend, dining with Andrew Saffir.
