Hamptons Historical Society’s Harvest Benefit

The Bridgehampton Historical Society is holding a late season Harvest Cocktail Benefit at the historic Hedges Lane estate in Sagaponack on Saturday, November 2 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Built in the 1850s, the Galban estate housed David Hedges, the grandson of the first Sagaponack settler, Daniel Hedges. Originally consisting of 60 acres, in 1962 the land was acquired by three sisters, Mary, Bertha, and Pauline Musnicki, who had used the land for agriculture since the 1930s. The property is currently a little under three acres, and features a Greek Revival style home as well as several well-preserved barns.

Guests at Harvest Benefit will enjoy Wolffer Estate Vineyards wine, an array of scrumptious tastings and the musical talents of Bridgehampton native, Caroline Doctorow.
